【Abstract】 Since 1978, ten cases have undergone autoplastic transplantation of the 2nd and 3rd toes onto the defective hand for substitution of the index and middle fingers by microsurgical technique. The indication of the two-toe transplantation is loss of the 2nd to 4th or 5th fingers in young healthy patients. By reconstruction of 2 lost fingers in one operation the grasping and pinching strength of the hand is much stronger. The anatomy of the related vessels, the optimal site of the transplanting, and evaluation of the operation are also discussed.更多还原
