【Abstract】 In this article the synthesis of "DANSHENSU" is reported. The structure of the synthetic compound had been identified to be identical with the natural product by means of chemical and physical methods. In this process the a-keto acid was reduced to a-hydroxy acid by Clemmensen reduction. It is a simplified method and a suggested possible mechanism of this reaction has been presented.更多还原
