【Abstract】 In the present paper the water hammer equations were derived with the concepts of the water hammer wave functions. The derivation is simple and clear. General expression of the reflective and transmissive coefficients and the water hammer computation were given on the basis of the wave functions. The relation between the water hammer pressure and the water hammer wave functions, and the mathematical models for computing were established.This is a new way and attempt for the computation of the water hammer.更多还原
