【Abstract】 Mechanism of eoxtraction of copper（Ⅱ） and Zinc from 0.4M sodium sulfate solution into herosene containing di—（2—ethylhexyl） phosphoric aicd have been studied. The extracted species have been found to be CuR₂·2RH. and ZnR₂·2RH. Their extraction equilibria can be written as follows: WhereInfluence of temperature and sodium sulphate concentration for extraction of copper（Ⅲ） and zinc have been examined.
