【Abstract】 Heights and BHDs of 1-6 years old trees of six Aigeiros clones, namely Populus deltoides Bartr. cv. ’Harvard’, Populus deltoides Battr. cv. ’Lux’, Populus × eurame-ricana (Dode) Guinier cv. ’san Martino’, Populus × curamericana (Dode) cv. ’I-214’, Populus×euramericana (Dode) Guinier cv. ’I-45/51’ and Populus nigra L. cv. ’blane de garonne’, were measured. Results showed that the trees are growing well in Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Shandong, Henan, Jiangsi, Hunan and Hubei Provinces. A monomolecular growth model, Y=M(1-LeKA), was used in calculating the growth index and the lesult of calculation showed a close approximation to the actual growth of the trees. This method can be applied to the trees growing in the open or in sparse woods under various conditions,更多还原
