【Abstract】 The optimum conditions for cassiterite film reaction have been examined and a new method has been developed for microchemical analysis of β-tin, the film reaction product on cassiterite surface. It is shown that by applying spot test with cacotheline-saturated aqueous solution, β-tin becomes violet and that the extraction of β-tin with nitric acid is accompanied by the precipitation of violet rhombohedra and feathery crystal stocks which have never been reported before. The newly developed method has proved valid and reliable in the microchemical analysis of bivalent tin.更多还原
