一种β钛合金的抗张性能与显微组织的关系

【摘要】 研究了显微组织对一种β钛合金抗张性能的影响。结果表明,低温时效析出的高度弥散ω和α质点,对提高强度作用不大,但当析出量达到一定数值对,两种相都使合金脆化。高于450℃时效,α相择优长大呈魏氏组织状分布,使合金的时效硬化率提高,但同时沿β晶界羽毛状长大的α相却使晶界弱化。因此为得高的综合机械性能,有个晶内强化和晶界强化的配合问题。

【Abstract】 The effect of microstructure have been investigated on the tensile properties in the 47121 β-titanium alloy. The results have shown that the dispersive ω and α particles precipatited at the low aging temperature had no observable effect on the improving of strength. However, when the quantities of ω and α particles reached a difinite amount, the alloy became brittle. When the aging temperture raised above 450℃, the α phase particles grew preferentially and its distribution appeared to be the Widmanstatten structure. At that time, the aging hardening rate of alloy raised, but the β grain boundary weakened due to the growth of α particles along the boundary as feathery feature in mean time.Therefore, there still exists the adjustment of the strength between grain and grain boundary before certain good combined mechanical properties can be obtained.
