【Abstract】 In this paper, the frequency spectral analysis for the numerical simulating results of the tidal waves in the Bohai Sea is made by using the theory and method of the frequency spectral analysis and the mathematical principles for treating data. The numerical simulating results have been examined and the tidal properties in the region where tidal waves are deformed are analysed. The numerical experimental results of the frequency spectral analysis have proved that influences of the nonlinear terms in the numerical model should not be neglected while the numerical simulating effects are being examined.
