【Abstract】 Technological improvements in the preparations of polytene chromosomes fromAnopheles Sinensis are reported here,distinct chromosomes could be seen almostin every specimen.The main improvements are:15% acetic acid was used as diss-ecting fluid,and 45% acetic acid and mixture of acetic acid and lactic acid wereused as fixing fluid,The fixing and staining time depends on the degree of shrin-king of the polytene chromosomes.These techniques are useful not only for labor-atory research but also for field investigation.更多还原
