【Abstract】 Huangqi(Astragalus)has extensive effects on the cardiovascular system.Thispaper reports its anti-arrhythmic effects in various experimental models.Theepinephrine induced arrhythmia in anesthetized rabbits could be prevented by intra-venous injection of Huangqi in doses equivolent to 2g/kg.The barium chloride in-duced arrhythmia and the aconitine induced arrhythmia in rats could be antagonizedby intravenous injection of Huangqi 4g/kg,the latter could be antagonized by cons-tant intravenous injection of Huangqi 8g/kg,too.When injected with Huangqi0.03g/ml into the isolated rabbit left atria,the effective refractory period(ERP)could be prolonged by 16.8%.In the anesthetized rabbits,the electric stimulus threshold of ventricular fibrillationwere increased equivolent to 2.8±0.6V by intravenous injection of Huangqi in dosesof 2g/kg.更多还原
