【Abstract】 This paper deals with some clinical data on multiple myeloma and analysis ofthe causes of misdiagnoses.Most of the misdiagnosed cases had a typical clinical symptoms.Instead ofpresenting with symptoms of the skeletal system,these cases usually had symptomsof other body systems,of seventeen misdiagnosed cases,thirteen(76.5%)had nopain in the bone.of twelve correctly diagnosed cases,eleven had complaints ofbone-aches(P<0.005).It indicates that misdiagnosis is often made in the patientwithout skeletal symptoms.When clinical symptoms like anemia,albuminuria,hematemesis,tarry stools etc.are present in middle-aged and elderly patients,andwhen these symptoms cannot be attributed to other diseases,the possibility ofmultiple myeloma should be considered and bone marrow examinations should begiven.更多还原
