【Abstract】 1115 cases of burn were treated during 1970-1980, including 127 eases of severe and exceedingly severe bum patients.The authors pointed out that suitable reduction of the amount of blood or plasma infusion and partially use dextran in stead in shock stage may be benefit.The authors also formulated the combination use of gentamycin and oxacillin for control of bacterial infections. They emphyasied the necessity of early escharectomy and developed a method for reducing blood loss during escharectomy. The indication for early tracheotomy in respiratory tract injury patients and the problem of the complication of fungus infection in the course of treatment were briefly discussed too. The death rate in this series was 3.49% in total, but in severe and exceedingly severe group was as high as 30.71%.更多还原
