CO2激光器中光辐射场对电子能量分布的影响
The Influence of Radiation Field on Distribution of Electron Energy in Carbon Dioxide Gas Laser
【摘要】 本文初步讨论和测定了有激光输出和无激光输出两种条件下CO2激光器中电子能量分布的细小差别。实验证明,当激光辐射场存在时,激光下能级的粒子数增多,下能级粒子和电子的第二类碰撞过程加强,从而引起电子能量分布中低能级电子组向高能方向漂移。这种实验可以定性地解释添加气体对激光下能级弛豫的影响。
【Abstract】 In this paper, the small difference between electron energy distributions in carbon dioxide gas laser with and without output of laser light has been considered and preliminarily measured. These measurements show that in the presence of laser radiation field, the population of lower laser level increases and the process of secondary collisons between the populations of lower laser level and electrons is enhanced. So the electron energy distribution will shift from the group of lower energy level to higher energy level. This experiment can explain qualitatively the effect on the relaxation of lower laser level by additional gases.
