【Abstract】 Some observations of the second phase particles have been studied with the extractive carbon replicas for 42CrMo steels microalloyed with Nb. The method mentioned above seems to be very effective in determining the sizes, the distributions of size and the shapes of the second phase particles in steels, and is introduced in detail in this paper.
