【Abstract】 This is a report on the result of various adriamycin containing protocols in the treat-ment of 42 cases of malignant tumors including 24 cases of non-Hodgkin lymphoma, 3cases of Hodgkin disease, 8 cases of breast cancer, 2 cases of tumors of GI tract, 2 cases ofmetastatic tumor, and 3 cases of soft tissue sarcoma. All patients except 4 had prior chemo-therapy. The total response rate was 64%. The response rate of non--Hodgkin lymphomawas 70.8%. The ADM + Ara - C + 6GT protocol yielded the best result in non-Hodgkinlymphoma. The response rate in breast cancer patients was discouraging, no patient achievedpartial regression. In one half of the 56 patients who were given adriamycin, the leukocytecount fell to below 3,000, but returned to normal before the start of the next treatment,alopecia was seen in 27% patients. In EKG follow--up, 16% patients showed myocardialchanges such as low voltage, T wave change, conduction block or premature beat.Adriamycin is considered to be one of the best antitumor agents.更多还原
