【Abstract】 Pathological specimens of 100 cases of early lung cancer were compared with X-raychest films and an analysis was made comparing the changes between the chest films andbasic pathology of early lung cancer. Among 30 cases of central type lung cancer, 21 cases had symptoms of obstruction.Our conclusion is that in any patient who is suffering from chest pain, cough, bloodysputum and gives an X-ray appearance of obstructive emphsema, obstructive pneumonitiesand obstructive atelectasis, it is necessary to find out the cause of the obstruction withoutdelay. The use of fiberoptic bronchoscope and will enhance the early diagnosis of centraltype lung cancer. Chest films of 70 cases of peripheral lung cancer showed lobulated fuzzy or notchedmargins and pleural tails. These signs are useful for the diagnosis of lung cancer, howeverearly lung cancer is ususlly less than 2 cm in diameter, thus the appearance of vacuolationsand air bronchiolograms in nodules indicate adenocarcinoma, and the appearance of coronaradiata around nodules indicate squamous cell carcinoma and unfifferentiated carcinoma. The vacuole sign and corona radiata are very important X--ray signs for the diagnosisof early lung cancer, if combined with lobulated fuzzy or notched margins, air bronchiolo-grams and pleural tails, the correct diagnosis of early lung cancer is usually not difficult tomake.更多还原
