【Abstract】 The potassium alginate impression material is one of the alginate materials featuring good elasticity and elastic recovery with proper mobility and setting time. There is no need for its being treated with fixing solution after setting. The perfection and accuracy of impres- sion, with its smooth and clear surface, contributes to molding. Its physical property is in keeping with the specification No.18 of American Dental Association for alginate impression materials.
