四极质谱计检测原子束
Detection of Atomic Beam by Quadrupole Mass Spectromer
【摘要】 我们自制了一台原子束装置,其准直比为450/1。装置上安装了两台四极分析器:一台为法国的SQ156L。通过该仪器测量了锂原子束的束形和发散角、考查了锂炉温度对发散角的影响,测量了锂的天然丰度比,另一台是中国产SJX-1型四极分析器,实验证明此仪器完全可用于金属蒸汽原子束的检测,当电离室附近的原子束的数密度约为10~9个/cm~3时,可以给出良好的信噪比。
【Abstract】 We have made an atomic beam apparatus having a collimating ratio of 450/1. Two quadru pole mass spectrometers have been used for the detection of the beam. One is a SQ-156L quadrupole analyzer, with which we have measured the shape and the divergence of Lithium beam. The effect of the temperature in the oven on the divergence of the beam has been determined. We have also measured the Lithium isotope ratio with natural relative abundances. Another quadrupole analyzer is a SJX-1 model, which is relatively uncomplicated and miniaturization. It has been proved that SJX-1 quadrupole analyzer can be used for the atomic beam detection and that when density of the beam at the ionizer is about 10~9/cm~3 it can give a fine ratio of signal to noise.
