【Abstract】 According to the research on the propagatedsensation along channels and the textual research onthe ancient Chinese medical books excavated fromMa Wang Dui Tombs,the author held that the ori-gin and formation of the channels and collaterals hadthe long years in the ancient times.During the co-urse of treatment,the propagated lines along thechannels occurred on the body through the superfi-cial massage and acupuncture.We have spent muchtime observing this law of the activity and the indi-cations.In the beginning of Western Han Dynasty,11 propagated lines were discovered,which wasknown as"Collaterals".During the period of theEmperor Wu at Han Dynasty,the word"Channel"was used and later was renamed"Channel and Col-lateral".During the Eastern Han(100 B.C.-200 D.C.),the theory of channels and collaterals was for-med.更多还原
