【Abstract】 Fifteen cases of the glaucoma patients were alloperated on by bilateral iridencleisis under acupunc-ture anesthesia,compared on the same patient.The results showed that the individual differenceappeared to be more important than the selectionof the points and the acupuncture method.The com-parison on the same body was proved to be a valu-able method for acupuncture anesthesia investiga-tion,which could minimize the number of the caessand save the time needed as well.Another 74 cases of glaucoma patients were di-agnosed and classified according to the theory ofdifferentiation of syndromes in traditional Chinesemedicine and the different responses to the effecton acupuncture anesthesia were compared.The re-sults revealed that the patients with Xu-cold werethe most responsive to acupuncture anaesthesia,whilethose with Xu-heat were less responsive,and thosewith Shi-heat the least responsive.It suggested,therefore,that by applying the differentiation ofsyndromes in traditional Chinese medicine beforeoperation and by selecting the points during theoperation,good results of acupuncture anaesthesiamay be obtained.更多还原
