【Abstract】 ¹²⁵Ⅰ-labeled iodinated oil has been used in Guinea pigs to study absorption,excretion and storage of oral iodinated oil.The results showed:1.During the first three days,more than 80%of the dose was excreted in theurine and the feces,in which about 6—13%of dose was oppeared in the feces inthe organic form,suggesting that a considerable fraction of oral iodinated oil cou-ld be quickly deiodinated within a relatively short time after oral administra-tion,and its absorption was in complete.2.The biological excretory half-life of oral indinated oil was 4.63 days comp-ared with 30 days of intramuscularly injected iodinated oil.3.Oral iodinated oil was mainly stored in the adipose tissue and due to thegreat amount of excretion in a earlier pariod after oral administration only a smallfraction of the dose was retained in the body.4.The duration of effectiveness of a single oral administration in the body wasvery short.According to the formula:log y=-k/2.303t+log%,it was suggested thatduration of its effectivness in the body should be 66 days in the larger dosagegroup and 57 days in the less dosage group,but nearly one year in intramuscularlyinjected oil group.The duration of effectiveness of a single oral administrationwas as much as about one fifth of that of intramuscularly injeted iodinated oil.更多还原
