荷花的开花生物学及人工杂交技术探讨

【摘要】 作者根据有关文献及在武汉的观察结果,简要介绍荷花的开花与授粉生物学特性。同时根据荷花开花时雌蕊先熟的特点,提出了荷花人工杂交授粉的技术程序。通过两年进行大量组合授粉结果证明,这一方法是切实可行的。

【Abstract】 In this paper,the biology of anthesis and the technique of artificial-pollination of the lotus are described and introduced. The flowers open early in the morning and close at night. The anthesis of each flo-wer may be divided into three periods.On the first day of anthesis, flowers are in primarily blooming pe-riod. At this time, protogynous is characteristic of the flower. On the top of flower buds the perianth parts only expand an opening with the pistils matured. The stigmas are covered abundantly with secrete muci -lage and the presence of the secretion is indicating that the stigmas are pollen receptive. The anthers are indehiscent in flowers during the first day of anthesis.On the second day of anthesis, flowers are in full-blooming period. At this time, the perianth parts have fully expanded with the androec-ium matured and anthers dehisced.On the third day of anthesis, the flowers are going to fading peri-od. Usually in late evening of the third day, the perianth parts begin to abscise during flower closure.Based on characteristic protogyny in anthesis of the lotus, the au-thor has suggested method and procedure for artificial pollination in the lotus.
