【Abstract】 TCM was emerged in arcient"holistic cra",however,it has had many wonderful achievement beyondthe general development level of that time.The primitive thought of many principles(such as integrity,correlatedness,orderlineness,dynamics)of modern system theory,can be found there.But after all,TCM may not be identified with modern system theory,there is an epoch gap betweenthem Although some principals were embedded in the theory and method of TCM,their development wasfar from reaching modern level.Its limitations mainly are shown in following aspects:(1)theunderstanding of the basis and nature of human organism system is naive and vague;(2)the regulation"technology"of system is rough,sweeping,and"black-box"-like.In order to develop the protype of TCM system theiry to modern level,it is necessary to absorb theresults of modern scientific theory and method,and on this basis to set up the presise and accurate"technology"of system and to develop further the medical system engineering.更多还原
