运动和脂质代谢
EXERCISE AND LIPID METABOLISM
【Abstract】 A group of 88 subjects suffering from hypertension and CHD had their serum lipid contents examinedbefore and after 3 to 12 months of exercise therapy. Results showed that the HDL-C increased from59. 11 ± 14. 40 to 66. 56 ± 12. 15mg% (P<0. 01) but there was no change in TC and TG. To preclude any possible effects the difference in age and sex might have on lipoprotein changes, 104subjects were divided into two groups: Group A consisting of 54 men over 50 years of age and with an ave-rage of 7. 9 years of jogging experience, and Group B (the control group) made up of 56 men, also over 50years of age but with no athletic experience. Gtoup A. Group B= HDL-C 74. 46 ± 12. 79mg%: 61. 77 ± 10. 79mg%, P<0.01;LPL 151. 67 ± 60. 65 mol/ml: 129. 70 ± 54. 87 mol/ml, P<0.05;TG 98. 84 ± 37. 93mg%: 118. 38 ± 25. 13mg%, P<0. 01. These results suggested that physical exercise helped to raise serum HDL-C and LPL activity in plasmaand to lower the TG level as could be seen in Group A. These changes are beneficial to regulating hyperli-pidemia and help to prevent the formation of atherosclerosis. The mechanism of HDL and LPL in regulatinglipid metabolism and in preventing atherosclerosis is being discussed and it is suggested that measurements ofserum HDL-C and LPL activity in plasma be used as fitness parameters.
