【Abstract】 Nan-Jing is situated at the southern section of Bo-ping Mountain range, 117°15′ longitude and 24°35′ latitude,and 500-1000 meters above seallevel. During the years 1965 and 1974,collecting trips in the forest area were carriec[ out and altogether more than one thousand amphibian and reptilian specimens were collected.There were 23 species of Amphibia belonging to 8 genera,6 fami- lies and 2 orders,and 60 species of Reptilia belonging to 34 genera,12 families and 3 orders.Among them,3 species (Draco maculatus,Lygosoma maculatum and Natrix boulengeri)are new records for Fujian Province.From the regional faun- istic analysis,all the amphibian and reptilian species of Nan-Jing belong to riental realm:30 species of South China Region,39 species of both South China and Central China Regions,11 species of Central China Region,3 species of wide distribution.This shows that the majority of the amphibian and reptilian species of Nan-Jing are either species of both South China and Central China Regions or South China Region,the minority are species of Central China Region.The richness of the amphibian and reptilian fauna in Nan-Jing is due to its location near the border region in between the South China Region and the Central China Region.更多还原
