【摘要】 <正> 台湾海峡介于我国闽台两省之间,是连接东海和南海的重要水道。海峡海底位于大陆架上,是亚洲大陆板块和陆缘的延伸部份,东侧与台湾岛相接。台湾岛处于硫球岛弧与菲律宾岛弧聚敛、复合部位,由太平洋菲律宾海板块与大陆板块碰撞形成。海峡的地质结构与板块构造运动紧密相关,是一个在地质理论及经济上具有很大意义的重要海区。台湾海峡的研究有着较长的经历,曾经断续地开展过不同程度和内容的调查。但就总的说来,海峡的地质研究程度不高,现有的不少认识还很敷浅。现根据已有资料和工作成果,对海峡的地质特征及矿产预测情况,作一初步综述和简介。不当之处,请予指正。更多还原

【Abstract】 This article is intended to give a preliminary summary of the geological features such as the nature of the basement, strata, structure, tectonic units, terrestrial heat and voloanic activities as well as ore deposits in the Taiwan Strait, based on the documents and information now available.The Taiwan Strait is located between the Taiwan Island Are and the Asia Continent. Its geological base is of typical continental crust with the strata of Upper Tertiary and Quaternary overlying it. Affected by the diving and (?)llision that stem from the oceanic plate towards the continental plate, fracture structures are much developed with some wide and gentle folds. And there are quite a few subsided and upheaval units of faulting block nature and many noticeable geological phenomena of various kinds. Some consider that this strait is a front-continental basin which is fringing the continent and behind the islands arc zone, and it is a typical area for studying compression structures in the rears of islands and ares.According to the favourable geological conditions and the manifestation of oil and gas,we have reasons to account the petroleum prospects in the strait.It is of great importance to carry cut marine geological investigations in the Taiwan Strait, and this should proceed in an overall and systematic way.更多还原
