兔内膝体神经元对短声引起的晚放电一些特性的观察

【摘要】 实验在118只以三碘季铵酚麻痹的兔上进行。微电极记录短声引起的内膝体神经元反应,在157个单位中,有9个单位表现出两次放电反应(占5.7%)。第一次反应(早放电)的潜伏期为10—13ms,第二次反应(晚放电)为20—28ms,后者的出现与声刺激强度有关,当声强度减至30dB 时,晚放电消失,而早放电不变。静脉注射盐酸氯丙嗪(6mg/kg)后,晚放电被阻抑,早放电仍然不变,85分钟后晚放电重新出现。以上实验结果提示,晚放电可能是听觉冲动经由脑干网状结构多突触上行途径传至内膝体的结果。

【Abstract】 Experiments were performed on 118 rabbits immobilized with flaxedil.Theunit discharge of single neuron evoked in medial geniculate body by clicks wasrecorded with a glass microelectrode.Among the 157 units responsive to clicks,9 gave two consecutive discharges.The first or early response had a latency about10-13ms,while the second or late,20-28 ms.In contrast to the early response,the late response latency varied considerably but became stable as the intensity ofclick stimulation was increased.When the intensity of the click stimulation wasdecreased 30 db from that capable of eliciting both discharges,the late responsecould no longer be evoked.Intravenous injection of chlorpromazine(6 mg/kg)temporarily depressed(lasting about 85 min)the late response,leaving the earlyresponse apparently unaffected.These experimental results suggest that the lateresponse of medial geniculate body neurons may be related to the transmissionof auditory input via the polysynaptic pathway of the reticular formation ofthe brain-stem.
