【Abstract】 In a previous paper （4）,we have reported the isolation of cardiotoxin-like factorsa and b from the venom of Bungarus fasciatus （from Kwangsi Province）.Now thephysical and chemical properties of these two cardiotoxin-liko factors have been stud-ied.The amino acid compositions of these two toxins are very similar.Their molecu-lar weights determined by gel filtration are 15,900 and 12,100 respectively.TheN-terminal sequence of the first two amino acid residues are exactly the same for thesetwo toxins.They are Gly.Leu…The sequence of the three C-terminal amino acidresidues determined by carboxypeptidase A degradation are…Ala.Cys.Tyr.Theisoelectrio points determined by electrofocusing are 8.8 and 9.2,and their E_1cm^1% at279 nm are 11.5 and 12.7 respectively.更多还原
