双轴晶体倍频相位匹配角及有效二阶非线性系数的数值计算

【摘要】 为了提高双轴晶体中二次谐波的效率,需要计算相位匹配曲线及有效二阶非线性系数deff和,deff从而求得最佳相位匹配角。本文给出了双轴晶体五种点群包括单斜m点群和三斜1点群的deff和,deff计算公式;给出了一水甲酸锂、铌酸钡钠、α—碘酸等八种双轴晶体的计算结果;并给出了一水甲酸锂、铌酸钡钠的二次谐波相位匹配试验结果。实验结果同计算结果非常一致。

【Abstract】 In order to raise the efficiency of second harmonic generation, it is necessary to calculate the PM loci and the effective second-order nonlinear coefficients deffI and deffII in biaxial crystals, and to find the optimum PM angleθandф. This paper gives all the formulas of deffI and d(effII for 5 biaxial crystals classes including monoclinic and 1-triclinic, and gives the computed results for 8 biaxial crystals, such as HCOOLi·H2O, Ba2NaNb5O15, α-HIO3 etc. The experimental results of PM SHG process using HCOOLi·H2O and Ba2NaNb5O15 are also reported, The computed results agree quite favorably with the experimental results,
