【Abstract】 Electrical acupuncture needling point "Nei-Guan" can raise Llood pressure and prolong life. This has been further proved in our experiments by animals subjected to hemorrhagic shock for thirty minutes. The demonstrations are as follows: 1. when the animals were bled down to blood pressure of about 50mm of mercury their blood pressure was maintained on this level for 30 minutes, i.e. to make the animals in hemorrhagic shock for 30 minutes. After this level was reached one group of rabbits was soon subjected to electrical acupuncture needling point "Nei-Guan". This was repealed at an interval of 30 minutes within 6 hours. Results showed that their blood pressure could be raised and their lives could be prolonged about 12 hours or more. But in the control group, i.e. the non-acupuncture group, all rabbits died within two hours after blding was checked. The martality difference between the two grps was highly significant. Meanwhile, both groups having their vagal nerves cut but one with needling Point "Nei-Guan" and another without died within two hours. 2. To improve the cardiac function of the hemorrhagic shock, the rabbits smed to rspd the needling well, and their blood pressure was raised and their lives were prolonged. The ECG began to recover in two hours after the bleeding was checked. And if the blood pressure could be further improved as normal as their original condition in five hours, the animals would be able to prolong their lives to twelve hoars or more, otherwise they would die within two hours. Obviously the cervical vargal rves are one of the important structures in this process. If they were cut, the offect resulting from acupuncturing "Nei-Guan" would not be prsont.更多还原
