恒定增益Q开关仪的研制
The Development of the Constant—gain O—switch Device
【摘要】 通常的定时调Q固体激光器(例Nd+3:YAG),由于泵浦能量的起伏而影响了激光器输出能量的稳定性,如果不是在泵浦后的固定时刻打开Q开关,而是在超辐射强度达到某一固定值时打开,便可得到稳定的输出。本文描述了这种恒定增益Q开关的设计;测量了输出脉冲激光能量的稳定性以及输出脉冲宽度,并与定时Q开关性能做了比较,结果其输出激光脉冲能量的稳定性提高了三倍。
【Abstract】 Because of the fluctuation of the pump energy, generally speaking, the output power of a Q-switch laser (for example Nd+3:YAG laser) is not stable. If the Q-switch is not triggerred at certain time after the pumping, but is triggerred when the superadiant signal intensities have risen to a certain value,then we can get stable laser output power. The design of this "constant-gain" Q switch device is discribed. The stability of laser output power and the pulse width of laser are measured. The resulting stability of this device are three times better than an ordinary Q-switch device.
