钡铁钛石与金沙江石的穆斯鲍尔谱研究

【摘要】 <正> 钡铁钛石和金沙江石都是首先在我国发现的矿物。矿物学研究表明,二者虽有某些相似之处,但在物理性质和化学组成方面都有显著的差别。本文是这两种矿物的穆斯鲍尔谱学研究成果。 一、实验方法

【Abstract】 Bafertisite and jinshajiangite, Ba-, Fe-, Ti-, and Mn-bearing silicate miner-als, have been found for the first time in China. Mineralogical studies have shownthat although there are some similarities in their physical and chemical propertiesthese two minerals should be considered as two different species. The crystal str-ucture of bafertisite is reported as follows: BaFe2 TiO(Si2O7) (OH)2,Z = 8,monoclinicsystem, and space group Cm. The crystal structure of jinshajiangite has not yetbeen determined, but we, based on Mossbauer and other mineralogical studies, as-suming that it is closely similar to bafertisite in crystal lattice. Mossbauer spectraof these two minerals are very similar either at room temperature or at liquidnitrogen temperature. In bafertisite, Fe2+ prefers to occupy Fe2 sites rather thanFe1, and a few Ti octahedra may be occupied by Fe2+;in jinshajiangite, Fe2+prefers to occupy Fe2 sites, too while Mn, in which jinshajiangite is enriched,prefers so strongly to occupy Fe1 sites as to enable more Fe2+ to enter into Tioctahedra.
