多步雪崩室高计数率击穿的一种可能解释
A POSSIBLE EXPLANATION OF RATE-DEPENDENT BREAKDOWN PHENOMENA FOR HIGH FLUX OPERATION OF GMSC
【摘要】 多步雪崩室在高计数率下发生气体击穿,可能是氩的亚稳态积累于阳极丝顶部“耗尽区”、达到一定浓度后引起一种电荷增殖过程迅猛发展所致。计算与国外新近实验结果令人满意地一致。
【Abstract】 The reason of the rate-dependent breakdown phenomena for higf flux operation ofGMSC, is probably due to the argons’ metastable states Arm, and lu or Ou- states ofAr2, accumulating in "depletion region" on the anode wire HV6, and raising, a rapidcharge generation process in high concentration region of Arm and Ar2. Our calcula-tion is in accord with experiment.
