碘酸锌的晶体结构
THE STRUCTURE OF Zn (IO3)2 CRYSTAL
【摘要】 本文用X射线粉末衍射方法测定了Zn(IO3)2的晶体结构。Zn(IO3)2属单斜晶系,空间群为P1121,点阵常数为:a=5.469A,b=2a=10.938A,c=5.1158A,γ=120°。单胞体积v=265.027A3,ρ为5.08g/cm3。每单胞含2个化合式单位,18个原子分别占据九组2(a)等效位置。测定了原子参数。 Zn(IO3)2晶体由IO3-三角锥体和略带畸变的ZnO6八面体组成。IO3-中的I-O平均键长1.81A,键角98.4°,形成近似六角密排列,Iv分布在z=O和z=(1/2)的平面。Zn2+略偏离Iv原子的平面,IO3-的所有O→I矢量都具有与c点阵矢量反平行的分量。本文讨论了极性晶体α-LiIO3,Mg(IO3)2,Zn(IO3)2,LiIO3-Mg(IO3)2,α-Cu(IO3)2晶体结构之间的相互关系。
【Abstract】 The structure of Zn(IO3)2 crystal has been determined by means of Ⅹ-ray powder diffraction method.It belongs to monoclinic system.The space group is P1121.Lattice constants are: α=5.469A,b=2α=10.938A,c=5.1158A,γ=120°.The density is equal to 5.08g/cm3.There are two formula units per unit cell.18 atoms in a unit cell are situated at the 9 sets 2(a) positions respectively.Their atomic parameters are: The crystal structure of Zn(IO3)2 consists of IO3- triangular pyramidals and slightly distorted ZnO6 octahedrons.The average length of three short bonds in two independent IO3- is 1.81A with average bond angle about 98.4°.The iodate ions form a nearly regular hexagonal closest-packed array,with iodine atoms at z=0 and 1/2.The resulting distorted octahedral interstices are occupied by zine ions which lie out of the iodine planes.All O→I vectors in IO3- have a component directed antiparallel to the c lattice vector. The mutual relation between the structures of α-LiIO3,Mg(IO3)2,LiIO3-Mg (IO3)2 solid solution,Zn(IO3)2 and α-Cu(IO3)2 crystals has also been discussed
