【Abstract】 Fifty-eight specimens of polychaete Nephtys honibergi Savigny were collected from the Tyne estury in England on November 9th 1981. This group was found to have a mean concentration of zinc at 4.03 μmol·g-1 (dry weight). That of copper was 1.15 μmol·g-1 and iron 8.92 μmol·g-1. No difference was observed between both sexes. Zinc and iron appeared more closely related in accumulation) than with copper, and they were significantly correlated (p<0.001) with eac. other but no correlation was found with copper. In dry wight both zinwolad iron were found to be negatively correlated (p<0.001) whereas copper the ) independent of dry weight.
