肺吸虫一新种——异睾狸殖吸虫Pagumogonjmus heterorchis sp.nov.的描述
A PRELIMINARY DESCRIPTION OF A NEW LUNG FLUKE——Pagumogonimus heterorchis sp. nov.
【Abstract】 This paper describes a new lung fluke hitherto not yet reported. We propose it to be a new spccies of genus Pagumogonimus(Chen, 1963) PAGUMOGONIMUS HETERORCHIS SP. NOV. Host: Vulpes vulpes. Location: Lung. Locality: Wufeng county in Hubei province, China. Body form: Cylindrical in shape but some what blunt anteriorly and tapering posteriorly. An average size of the body is 14.26×5.84mm. The width to length radio is 1:1.45.Acetabulum is larger than oral sucker.Ovary has a prominent central body with 5~6 branches. They may be subdivided succeedingly, but the total branches are not so many as that seen in P.skrjabini (Chen,1959). Testes occupy 1/4~1/5 posterior part of the body and characterized by clumplike structure in varying forms.Cuticular spines are mixed growth pattern. The spines on the area between two suckers are single growth pattern, while the remainders in single as well as in group. Ova: oval in shape, 74.94×48.40μ average in size. Most of them are symmetrically. In comparison with the species in the genus, we find the difference from P. skrjabini, P, hueit’ungenisis Chung et al, 1975 and P. yunanensis Ho et al, 1959 is due to the cuticular spines of these species by mainly or entirely having a single growth pattern. While in mixed growth pattern e.g. P.macrochis Chen, 1962; P. cheni Hu, 1963 and P. szechuanensis Chung et al, 1962, we find that our specimens are quite diffenent by having an outstanding varifprm clumplike structures of testes.
