【Abstract】 Macrotermes luokengensis, sp. nov.The soldier and imago of this new species have the following characteristics dif-ferent from all related species:1. Major soldier: back of head with two black brown longitudinal bands frommiddle to posterior margin; antennae with 17 articles, the third nearly one and a halftimes as long as the second.2. Minor soldier: mandibles long, slender, almost straight; baek of head with twoblack brown longitudinal bands.3. Imago: body colour deeper than that of Macrotermes barneyi Light, forewingM branching off prior to middle.Holotype: major soldier, paratypes: minor soldiers and imagines, Dianbai county,Guangdong province, 1980. 6. 15, collected by Shi Jin-xiang.All types are deposited in the Guangdong Institute of Entomology.更多还原
