【Abstract】 We examined thirteen rare.Chinese birds,the Tibetan eared pheasant Crossoptiloncrossopfilon drougnii J. Verreaux from Qinghai Province,and discovered a new trema-tode of Skrjabinosomum from the liver of two birds. Skrjabinosomum crossoptilen,sp. nov.(fig. 1) Body elongate and cylindrical,7.636-7.999×0.186-0.224mm, width/length ratio1:38-43,maximum width at vitellarine region.Body surface smooth.Oral suckersubterminal, with rather strong preoral lobe.Acetabulum smaller than oral sucker,with weak musculature. Testes elongate and elliptical,tandem,the anterior one situated well behind(0.720-1.309 mm to) acetabulum.Several uterine coils occupying.the space betweentestes and acetabuluan.Cirrus pouch small,its base reaching anterior border of aceta-bulum.Genital pore anterior to acetabulum. Ovary located at equatorial region,elongate and oval.Ovary and testes wellseparated from each other,with several uterine coils between them.Vitellaria more orless posterior to ovary,consisting of variously sized follicles.Uterus with its decend-ing coils not reaching the end of body. This new species differs remarkably from its congeners in (1) oral sucker largerthan acetabulum, (2) the distance between anterior testis and acetabulum three timesthe width of body,(3) testes elongate oval, width/length ratio about 1:3,(4) uterusnot extending to the terminal of body.更多还原
