【Abstract】 It has been proved experimentally in several cases in our laboratory that the universal calibration in GPC is,in principle,suitable for all species of polymers if the proper solvents and the correct Mark-Houwink equation are used.This paper deseribes,among other things,application of universal calibration in the calculation of the constants κ and α in Mark-Houwink equation in the estimation of the shape and size parameters of polymer molecules in dilute solutions and in the determination of the degree of branching of branched polymers.更多还原
