【Abstract】 Based on the analysis of 46 cases of small HCC, follow-up examination of subjects with no active liver disease and Showing continuous positive low level alpha fetoprotein is considered of prime importance for early diagnosis of small HCC. A meticulous detection using B scan may provide more information on localization of small HCC as compared with nuclide imaging, However, it seems less favorable than selective celiac or hepatic arteriography. Long-term results indicated that radical cure of disease may be achieved after complete surgical resection of tumor, cryosurgery or laser. Our principle is to make every effort for extirpation of tumor using appropriate types of operation for patients with compensated liver function. Second-look operation may further prolong survival in cases with recurrence or metastasis after early and radical resection of small HCC. Valuable data concerning development of primary liver cancer was also obtained in this study.更多还原
