【Abstract】 The ear size has a closely positive correlation with the sugar content of bleeding sap in winter wheat, but has little correlation with the amino acid content of bleeding sap. Thus the sugar contents in the bleeding sap may be used as an index for measuring the developmental status of ears. Under single planting condition, as the ear number per single plant increased, the number of secondary roots per cnlm and the content of amino acid in the bleeding sap decreased, while the sugar contents imcreased. Under the condition of population cultivation, as the ear number per single plant increased, the number of secondary roots of every culm decreased, the amounts of bleeding sap did not change significantly, while the sugar contents in the bleeding sap increased.更多还原
