棉花《三桃》建成过程的初步研究
A PRELIMINARY STUDY ON THE PROCESS OF THE FORMATION OF COTTON(G.hirsutum)BOLLS
【摘要】 本文是从棉花花芽分化发育动态来研究棉桃的形成过程。试验结果表明:(1)棉株生长至有效蕾终止期(8月15日)可分化113~134个花芽(一级果枝花芽),能现蕾开花的有40~54个,能成桃的有9.8~15.6个,成铃率为7.8~11.6%,(2)棉株现蕾前可分化21~30个花芽,一般都有可能现蕾开花;蕾期可分化57~61个花芽,其中有10~30个花芽能现蕾开花,其余为无效花芽。开花后可分化22~48个花芽为无效花芽。
【Abstract】 Studies on the relationship between the differentiation and develop-ment of floral buds and the formation of the cotton bolls were conduc-ted from 1978 to 1979 in Nanjing.The results obtained are summarizedas follows:1.Cotton plant may differentiate 113-134 floral buds on the firstfloral branches at the end of effective squaring period(August 15).Thenumber of squares and flowers appeared varied from 40 to 54,and thenumber of bolls formed varied from 9.8 to 15.6,giving an average rateof bollset from 7.8% to 11.6%.2.A cotton plant can differentiate 21-30 floral buds before the ap-pearance of squares.Generally all of them may form squares and flowers.It can differentiate 57-61 floral buds at the squaring period,of whichonly 10-30 become squares and flowers,while the rest being ineffec-tive.It can also differentiate 22-28 floral buds after the appearance offlowers,but all of them are ineffective ones.
