【Abstract】 Eight cases of primary pulmonary hypertension and two of them with pathological study of the lung vessals are reported.The pathogenesis of the primary pulmonary hypertension is unknown. Many writers consider the changes in the pulmonary vasculature to be secondary to the recurrent attacks of miliary embolisms as a result of auto-immune mechanism. Congenital malformations of the pulmonary vasculature, menstrual cycle and vasoconstriction may also be the underlining.The diagnosis of PPH is made after exhaustive study but failed to reveal any primary disease that could result in the development of the pulmonary hypertension. A syncopal episode appears late in the course of the disease.Active treatment of PPH is unsatisfactory but vasodilators anticoagulants may be tried.更多还原
