白土中主要粘土矿物相的研究

【摘要】 白土产于下二叠系茅口组下部,在江西省境内分布广泛。章人骏先生曾把乐平白土的粘土矿物相定名为海泡石,1977年贵阳地球化学研究所对景德镇柳家湾白土进行了X—光衍射分析和电子显微镜分析,认为其主要矿物相为滑石。为了进一步搞清楚白土中的主要矿物相,本文对江西省某些地区所产白土作了分析研究,根据差热分析曲线、X—射线衍射分析曲线、电子显微镜照片以及有关的工艺性能,初步确定景德镇柳家湾白土、宜春白土和萍乡等地白土的主要矿物相是富镁蒙脱石变种,含少量的石英和伊利石。而乐平牯牛岑土,上部样品的主要矿物相是蒙脱石,下部样品的主要矿物相是海泡石。由于柳家湾等地白土中的富镁蒙脱石变种是一种较特殊的矿物,因此我们建议把这种富镁蒙脱石变种暂定名为“柳家湾型蒙脱石”或简称为“柳家湾石”。

【Abstract】 Baitu clay occuring in the lowerpart of Maokou group of the permian family is widely distributed in Jiangxi province.Mr. Zhang Ren—jun once designated the main mineral in Baitu clay occuring in Guniuling and Dingjiashan of Loping county as Sepiolite. In 1977, having made a research on it with X—ray diffraction analysis and EM, the Earth Chemistry Institute of Guiyang considered the main mineral in Liujiawan Baitu clay to be talc. In order to form a clear definition of its main mineral compositions, this paper has made a research on the Baitu clay produced in some area of Jiangxi。By differential thermal analysis, the X—ray diffraction analysis, the electronic microscopy and based on some of the related technological properties, we have found that the main mineral compositions of Baitu clay occuring in Liujiawan, Yichun and Pingxiang are varieties of high—magnesium montmorillonite with a small quantity of quartz and illite。Different from the above—mentioned Baitu clay is Guniuling clay occuring in Loping county. Its mineral compositions are montmorillonite in the upper part and Sepiolite in the lower part of the clay ore bed。 As the high—magnesium montmorillonite in Liujiawan Baitu clay is a kind of special clay mineral, so our suggestion is that it be denominated for the time being "Liujiawan—type montmorillonit" or "Liujawanite" for short。
