【Abstract】 The Chinese zoker,Myospalax fontanieri ,is one of the most important pest in grassland, so that its distribution rule and its influences on the vegetation should be well studied, our work was carried out at Muge-tan region, Guinan county,Qinghai Province.The following results have been approached.1. The zokers were mainly drstributed in the degenerated grassland with a rather moist soil where forbs were dominated.2. Their damages to vegetation were caused by grazing herbage roots, or by digging the earth to make a great quantity of dunes,thus producing some secondary naked area.3. The forb community provided good food basis for the zokers, and the zokers provided good conditions for the forbs to probagate. Thus the grassland would be more heavily degenerated,the grass production would more decreaseased.4. After rodent control.the vegetation will be recovered gradually during a rather long time.更多还原
