土的液化机理
Mechanism of SoiI Liquefaction
【摘要】 本文研究了土液化的物理意义和它的作用机理,重点论述了饱和无粘性土液化时的应力状态及其演化规律,并通过若干代表性例子加以说明。文章还探讨了其它有关问题,得出下列结论:饱和无粘性土在走向液化过程中的应力状态始终受制于极限平衡条件,并趋近于“静水压力”;应变量不宜作为土液化定义中有效的参考量;饱和无粘性土在往返荷载或振动作用下的孔隙水压力变化机理与颗粒排列结构的变化特性、排水条件和边界条件等有关.
【Abstract】 The physical meaning and mechanism of soil liquefaction are investigated. Emphasis is laid on the stress condition and stress evolution in saturated cohesionless soils during liquefaction. Typical examples are described to demonstrate the process of stress evolution in soil liquefaction. Some other related problems such as the limit equilibrium condition, the role of strain in soil liquefaction and the mechanism of pore water pressure evolution in the saturated cohesionless soil mass due to cyclic loading or vibration are also discussed. It is found that the state of stress in saturated cohesionless soils is bounded by limit equilibrium condition and approaches "hydro-static pressure" in the course of liquefaction, the strain does not seem to be a proper reference for the definition of soil liquefaction, and the pore water pressure evolution in saturated cohesionless soils due to cyclic loading or vibration can be correlated with the fabric characteristics and drainage condition of the soil mass.
