【Abstract】 In this paper, a time integral scheme based on variational principle is preseh-ted. The dimensionless form of the primitive equations is taken into account and the sum of the kinetic and available potential energies is used as the variational constraint condition in order to prevent the nonlinear instablity during long-term numerical integration.
