【Abstract】 This study consists of three parts: Part Ⅰ. Galculations; Part Ⅱ. Global real-data analysis and Part Ⅲ. Global spectral model. In Part Ⅰ., the present paper, it is presented to review and discuss the accuracy of calculating Hough functionand frequency- -the eigensolutions and eigenvalues of linearized shallow water mo-del over a sphere, and a physical interpretation of U, V, and Z is also given. Theresults of calculation will be applied to Part Ⅱ. and Part Ⅲ., which will be written as separate papers.更多还原
