白浆土的水分周年动态和改土问题

【Abstract】 Accrding to a four years’ observation on the soil moisture fluctu- ation of gleyed planosol sampling down the profile to 1 meter depth,the characteristics of soil moisture change following the season and the curves of moisture fluctuations were obtained. Gleyed planosol is a kind of hydromorphic soil with three distinct layers on the profile,namely black chernozemic layer,white eluvial layer and brown illuvial layer.The last two layers are highly compact and impermeable. The soil moisture fluctuation during a year may be divided into five periods:1.thawing period(the end of March to the end of April), 2.drying period(the beginning of May to the middle of July),3.rainy period(the middle of July to the middle of September),4.relatively stable period(the middle of Sept.to the beginning of Nov.),and 5.frozen period(the beginning of Nov.to the end of march). When water requirement of spring wheat,corn and soybean iscom- pared with the moisture content of soil and rainfall during the growing season,spring wheat is the plant that suffers most easily from drought, and corn is the second one in order.Development of irrigation would increase the production accordingly,especially the production of wheat. Soil reclamation including irrigation,drainage,organic manure application,reformation of the compact white layer by under tillage and deep fertilization,and horizontal strip cropping of the slope are recommended.
