我国疟疾原虫抗药性的简介

【摘要】 <正> 从六十年代世界上发现第一例抗氯喹恶性疟虫株于哥伦比亚以后,陆续在东南亚各国,发现广泛的抗氯喹恶性疟原虫株,我国地处于东南亚北部,解放前疟疾是广泛存在.解放后,在中国共产党和中央政府领导下,组织抗疟队伍,培养抗疟技术人员,对人民进行抗疟教育,在疟疾流行区积极进行抗疟措施.三十年来,大部地区,疟疾已基本消灭,目前的部分疟区,是在邻邦边境,及个别南方的岛屿.我国抗疟工作者,于一九七五年首次在南部两个县调查六十七个点,当时发现一例抗氯喹的恶性原虫株,是二度的抗药性(按国际卫生组织标准),从此引起注意本地抗药性问题.本文收集一部分材料报告,作为参考.

【Abstract】 From 1974 to 1977, we investigated 8,748 cases of Plasmodium infections in 180 observed loci. We discovered 512 cases (5.82%) with chloroquine resistant strains in 69 loci (38.33%). The greatest majority was found in children who were under 15(63.5%-86.2%). chloroquine sensitive tests were done in 198 cases of P. falciparum and as a result 67 cases (33.8%) were found to be sensitive; 71 cases were classified as RI (35.85%) - (WHO standard), 45 cases RII (22.75%) and 15 cases (7.57%) RIII. In 58 cases of P.vivox infections, primaquine was given for 8 days and pyrimethamin was given in the last 2 days of treatment. Results showed that 38 cases (65.5%) were sensitive to pyrimethamin and 9 cases (15.5%) were RI and 11 cases (18.9%) RII; no cases were found to be R III. In the past 10 years or so, these two drugs were used for the treatment and prevention of malaria. The author thinks that drug resistance seems to be produced spontaneously.
